Milano Underground Painting

2005/06, life in Milan.
In the pre smartphone era, I spent a lot of time in the subways. People got lost in reading a book or looking into space for something special.

I scribbled portraits of faces enchanted in their thoughts.
Then the canvas was born.

The original painting fascinated so much that it was stolen.
In 2020 I made this replica.

I dedicate this painting to those who are still lost in their own thoughts
